You are free to set your own pace and to track your own progress. Your race, your pace. Honesty is the best policy. There is no need to submit your time. We rely on everyone to track his or her own progress. Besides, we have our Facebook group where you are encouraged to post photos of yourself once you have finished the event. You can also share articles related to the cause. Occasional contests will be held for most interesting posts or photos.

It's a Sister Thing!
We're sisters, we're buddies. We run together. We keep fit together. We eat together. We do everything together. It's a sister thing!

The State of the World's Sea Turtles, or SWOT, is a partnership among Oceanic Society, the IUCN-SSC Marine Turtle Specialist Group, Duke University's OBIS-SEAMAP. It is a globally-focused program that combines science with education, outreach, and action to advance sea turtle conservation worldwide.
>> to create a permanent global network of specialists working to accelerate the conservation of sea turtles and their habitats
>> to build a transparent and trusting community that works towards identifying and creating opportunities for collaboration between and within projects, regions, and countries
>> to pool and synthesize data and regularly share the information with audiences who can make a difference
Oceanic Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that works to improve ocean health by deepening the connections between people and nature to address the root cause of its decline: human behavior. They seek to bridge the gap between awareness and measurable behavior change in 3 major ways.
